Musician Sturgill Simpson has teamed up with Z2 Comics to bring his anime Sound & Fury to comics. Simpson is joined by writer Jason Aaron for an anime visual album from Jumpei Mizusaki, Koji Moirmoto, Michael Arias, Masaru Matsumoto, Henry Thurlow, Arthell Isom, and Takashi Okazaki as we witness a mysterious driver heading deep into a post-apocalyptic hellscape for a showdown with two monstrous opponents. Sound & Fury will be illustrated by Rufus Dayglo, Deathburger, Rosi Kampe, Vasilis Lolos, and Takashi Okazaki.

Sound & Fury: The Graphic Novel is set for release on November 17th, 2020. It clocks in at 144 pages and will retail for $19.99. Z2 will also offer an oversized and slipcased edition for $99.99, limited to only 2,500 copies and available exclusively through Z2’s website.
