From The Man In The High Castle To Tribes Of Europa

Getting tired of lockdown? Understandable. Most people are at this point after month by month of staying at home. Therefore, it is good to have something to keep yourself occupied with. And what is better than a good Tv show?

Getting hooked on and absorbed by a good show can make days pass by like minutes once you really immerse yourself into their respective fictive worlds. Here, we have made a list of some good and alternative TV shows to watch during lockdown.

The Man in the High Castle

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if the Japanese and Germans won the Second World War? That is what the show The Man in the High Castle attempts to portray and does a good job at.

The show mainly takes place in the US which is now split between Japan and Germany. Tensions between the two fascist superpowers are on the rise and a potential nuclear war might be on the horizon. Many historical characters from both sides are portrayed well by a talented cast of actors and makes the world truly come alive. Can the fascists be defeated? Watch the 4 seasons to find out!

Tribes of Europa

Tribes of Europa is set in Europe 2074. A global catastrophe has devastated the continent and any form of coherent nation state has been obliterated. The surviving people have formed themselves into a dystopian society of micro tribes that constantly vie for power and influence.

Three siblings are caught up in this conflict as they come into possession of a mysterious cube. So far, the series only has one but very solid and interesting season. A second one might be in the works which we wait for in excitement as if we were to win big at an online casino.

The 100

The spiritual predecessor of Tribes of Europa is The 100. The series started a few years ago and has by now a solid collection of seasons under its belt.

The 100 takes us to a future where the world is rendered uninhabitable by nuclear holocaust. Humanity has thus far survived on a big international space station and seeks to reclaim Earth. To figure out whether it is survivable or not they send 100 criminal teenagers back to Earth to test this. Earth turns out to be survivable, but all is not yet as it seems.

Making Lockdown Tolerable

Lockdown has really made us appreciate the smaller things in our everyday that we no longer get to enjoy as freely as before. Therefore, it is also important to appreciate what we still have or what we have gotten.

Lockdown has given us a lot of time between our hands but with most of our original pass-times unavailable it seems like the perfect time to plow through a bunch of well-made shows.

This list is a great starting point and hopefully you will discover more on your own. Good watching!
