When Howard the Doc initially launched as an indiegogo crowdfunding project it didn’t hot its goal. But that didn’t deter Howard the Duck film fans, Ernie Trinidad and Ben Golomb and his crew from scaling down their ambitions and giving it another go. And then came Covid-19. ‘Nuff said.
And so we come to hear and now and a third attempt at making this behind-the-scenes documentary for a more reasonable target goal of $12,000.
As well as a reduced budget, what these film-makers now have are some of the original cast recorded either in person before the pandemic hit, or through conference calling. With most interviews in the bag, Trinidad and Golomb felt time to relaunch their campaign along with Michael Kallio (producer) and Elena Sweeney.
