And to end… Brent Anderson‘s Ka-Zar Portfolio (1982)

All of which took me down the rabbit hole of Anderson’s work… something I first saw with this… 1982’s X-Men Graphic Novel, God Loves, Man Kills

Damn, I loved that when I first read it, probably a couple of years after release, when I was a young teen loving the X-Men. It was such a powerful read for this young lad at the time.

And since then, Anderson’s art has always come to have that special place in my heart.

And of course, there’s Astro City, the wonderful superhero tale from Anderson, written by Kurt Busiek…
