Liam Sharp, who is featured in the mag, had this Ito say on getting an early copy of the magazine:
You humble me beyond words. The Tripwire anniversary issue is lavish and wonderful, and your inclusion and appreciation of my efforts across the board are both profoundly affecting and hugely appreciated. Moments like this make the slog feel valid and my preposterous dreams feel worth while.
Thank you mate! You’re awesome. LOVED the gallery too! Astonishing company!
Very best always and take care!

Tripwire continues to be read and appreciated by the movers and shakers in the comics industry: “Tripwire is always well researched and enthusiastic, by people who truly care about the importance of story. It’s analytical without losing heart.” – JH Williams III, Promethea, Echolands.
“Tripwire covers such a wide variety of topics in the world of news, entertainment and the arts, and covers them so well, that it’s pretty much become my go-to source for what’s going on in media. I know if Tripwire is covering a subject, it’s not only interesting, fun and informative, it’s also legit.”- Blll Sienkiewicz, illustrator
”Tripwire has been for nearly three decades the touchstone of comic book culture in the U.K and one of the leading periodicals dedicated to this narrative art form. Incisive, smart and always relevant.” – Guillermo del Toro (Oscar winning director, The Shape Of Water)
“In an industry and a world full of uncertainty, the constants that Tripwire offers in all its forms — great reporting, interesting information captivatingly presented, beautiful graphic design — are always a welcome thing. Joel Meadows and his team never fail to remind me why I love comics as much as I do, and why I feel the same about Tripwire, too.” – Chris Ryall, formerly of IDW
We were so pleased with the support we received last time around and we have an even more impressive package this time around. We continue to offer the kind of material that no one does and even though we love putting our website together, a print magazine does something that an online offering cannot.
Our target is slightly higher than it was on our previous campaign as we need to make sure we pay our journalists, artists and contributors on the new print magazine. We feel that this is the only fair way to proceed here.
We have some fairly cool stretch goal perks planned too so once we hopefully hit our target we shall be announcing them.
We can’t do this without your generous support again and we believe we can hit our target again with your assistance.
Thanks for watching and thanks for reading
We shall also be launching a kickstarter with a different set of perks the beginning of December as well
