‘Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’ Goes Free To Play Beginning June 21st

During a recent stream, Fall Guys developers Mediatonic confirmed their popular title Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout would be going free-to-play. This comes alongside an announcement that the game is releasing on more platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store. All versions will experience cross-play and cross-progression, so players will be able to progress regardless of which platform they’re playing on.

Interestingly, Mediatonic also confirmed players will no longer be able to download Fall Guys on Steam when the new version launches. Instead, new players will have to download the game via the Epic Games Store, and the Epic Games Account will be responsible for handling cross-play and cross-progression. Players who already own the game on Steam will not be affected, and continue to receive updates and be able to play the game on Steam.
