She-Hulk Episode Three Twerks Up to People’s Expectations

Green With Envy

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the eighth television series under the banner of Marvel Studios, and expectations are running high among the masses. Just like https://www.telecomasia.net/sports-betting/tips/football/ gives predictions for football matches, there are people and fansites who come up with predictions and theories about the Marvel Universe to keep the people on their toes…

In the third episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we see Jennifer Walters in her lawyer avatar. The last episode ended with Jen agreeing to take his case, only to find out later that there exists a video of him fighting in a cage match in Macau when he was actually supposed to be serving time. This naturally complicates matters, and Jen asks Blonsky to spill the beans if he wants to win the case. He tells her the truth, which does not sound like the truth so much: he was freed by Sorcerer Supreme Wong, who was seen fighting against him in the footage. Wong freed him, and took him to this cage match. Afterwards, Emil came back to prison of his own accord. Unsurprisingly, she doesn’t believe him, but does ask Nikki to find out more about Wong.

Wong makes an entrance directly into her office, and corroborates that story: he was training to be the Sorcerer’s Supreme back then, and wanted to practice against a worthy opponent. Since Wong’s actions had resulted in this bump on the road, he offers to transfer Emil to the Mirror Dimension. Jen politely refuses, and asks him to just show up at the trial and repeat what he had said, in a court of law.

Wong does show up (even though he is late), and tells the court what had happened, and how Emil had willingly gone back to prison, even if he could have escaped. When a member of the board remarks that he could become a monster once again if he turned into The Abomination, Emil calmly transforms in front of the crowd, and tells them that he has learnt how to control himself, just like The Hulk has done. He is finally granted parole on the condition that he wears an Inhibitor designed by Bruce Banner himself which would prevent him from turning into The Abomination.

But the highlight of the episode was the side plot with Dennis Bukowsky who has been misled by a shape-shifting New Asgardian elf to believe that he is dating Megan Thee Stallion. Dennis is represented by Augustus Pugliese, who is unable to help him. It is only when Jen states that Bukowsky is indeed stupid enough to fall for that Pugliese is able to win his case. Megan Thee Stallion herself makes an appearance to thank Jen for clearing her name. The post credits scene shows us a clip of The Stallion and The She-Hulk twerking, which has broken the internet. With star-studded cameos like these, we can only wait to see what other surprises Marvel has up their sleeves.
