The iconic moment comes from 1981’s ‘Judge Death Lives‘ story, drawn by Brian Bolland, when Judge Fear invites Dredd to “Gaze into the face of Fear!” Dredd, being Dredd, puts his fist right through Fear’s head, declaring “Gaze into the fist of Dredd!”
It’s a panel that every fan of Judge Dredd knows and loves.

And now fans can see it in 3-D for the very first time with the announcement of the latest Hiya Toys/2000 AD action figure set coming to stores in early 2024. The 1/18 scale set 4-inch Judge Dredd: Gaze Into The Fist of Dredd Action Figure will be available to pre-order from retailers from 10 May.
It’s just the latest addition to the impressive range of Dredd figures, complete with all the usuals. Judge Fear’s got 13 points of articulation and Dredd’s got 16 points with shoulder and joint pads, plus chains and badges of office. While Judge Fear’s helmet has been remodeled with a huuuuge hole right where its face should be – all the better to put Dredd’s fist through.
