Comics legend Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has been partnering with Marvel for the last few years to create new iconic images of classic characters. This July, he covers the greatest villain in science fiction with July’s Darth Vader: Black, White & Red #4.
Eastman is well known for his kinetic indie comics style. Seeing Darth Vader, surrounded by the snowy environment of Hoth, in his style is a lot of fun. Vader’s mysterious return to this famous Star Wars location, first seen in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, will be revealed in a thrilling new tale by writer Frank Tieri and artist Danny Earls. The issue will also present the final chapter of Jason Aaron and Leonard Kirk’s saga that ran across all four issues and a mind-melting venture into Vader’s psyche by Steve Orlando and Paul Davidson.
